A New Look…

We thank God and praise His name that there are quite a number of you following the Bible Reading plan faithfully as we strive to draw closer and closer to Jesus through His Word daily.

You may notice (I certainly hope you do) that we have a new look today.

Locate Passages At A Glance

Instead of showing the entire day’s posting on one page, we have broken it down so that it is easy for you to see at a glance the different passages that we have covered during the week. If you miss a day of reading, no problem… simply click on the relevant posting to catch up your reading.

One of the feedback that we received was that it was hard to follow the Bible plan because instead of doing book by book, we chose to do different books on different days. And because they find it hard to follow through, they stop.

Locate The Comments For Each Bible Genre

For some of you, you still prefer the traditional reading through the Bible book by book way.  No worries.  But we are hoping that with this new layout, you could still follow the Bible reading comments made by our writers as you go through your own reading plan.

This is how you can do so.

Look at the top menu. You will see the now familiar different Bible genres – Epistles, Gospel, History etc.

Simply click on it and you will be brought to a page showing the all the different postings for that particular genre. As these will be for the same books of the Bible, you can simply click the different postings to read the impressions of the different chapters written by our contributors.

Bible Verse Tool Tip

One new addition is also a Bible Verse Tool Tip.  What this means is that for every Bible verse you see on the blog (except for long passages), you can put your mouse over the Bible verse and a ‘pop-up’ will show you the Bible verse so that you do not necessarily have to flip to your Bible to read it.

For example, let’s say I refer you to 2 Timothy 3:16.

Now put your mouse over “2 Timothy 3:16″.  There!  Do you see the pop up?

Hope this makes your Bible reading even easier.

We Need Your Feedback

Now, we are not sure if this is the best way to help you all read the Bible. Please let us know what do you think of this new layout.

Let me know if you find any problems. Tell me if you like it, or hate it.

Together we will help one another read through the Bible this year.

All glory to God.

  1. Hey, I am refreshed by the new look! I think websites need a bit of change from time to time. And what’s more important, it’s really much easier to click for the different genres, and also have a quick look thru for all the posts! It’s a great change :D

  2. i like the new layout too, except that the colour is a bit too dim. May be can consider blue, the colour of sky.
